Located five miles South of Minocqua on Highway 51, Hazelhurst is only minutes away from access to the Lake Minocqua chain of lakes and Lake Tomahawk. There are literally hundreds of lakes in the Hazelhurst area for the enjoyment of area visitors.

Quaint shops, restaurants, and bars dot the area from Hazelhurst to Minocqua, Eagle River, Rhinelander, Tomahawk, and surrounding communities, all within an easy drive.

Recreational opportunities abound in the area with miniature golf, horseback riding, small amusement parks, wildlife zoos, canoeing, tubing, hiking, bicycling, theater, water ski shows, golfing, etc. And don’t forget the many summer and fall activities and festivals for which the Lakeland area is known.

Silver Lake Lodge is also located within minutes of the Winter Park cross country ski area and is on a major snowmobile artery, within several miles of the Bearskin Trail.
